Vlad Tudor is a Romanian AI engineer and entrepreneur, founder of Sapio AI, based in Bucharest. He has built AI systems since before ChatGPT: a Romanian speech-to-text model, one of the first ChatGPT-based customer-support systems in production, and retrieval systems that answer from documents and cite them.
He founded Sapio AI in 2021, an AI studio that delivers custom systems across legaltech, medtech, retail and SaaS, and leads every client engagement personally. In 2024 he built ai-aflat.ro, Romania's free AI assistant for national legislation. It covers 220,000+ legislative acts, updated daily, cites the law behind every answer and has 15,000+ users, with no marketing budget. A member of the UNBR Council started a pilot with the Romanian bar, and ProTV's iLikeIT demonstrated it live on national television.
He co-founded AI Leaders Romania, co-organises AI Collective Bucharest, and taught for four years at Politehnica University of Bucharest, where he earned his B.Sc. in Automatic Control and Computer Science and his M.Sc. in Industrial Systems Engineering. He is a Forbes Romania 30 Under 30 (2025) and a TEDx speaker ("The Story of AI"), and gives talks and interviews in Romanian and English.

What is Vlad Tudor's fee for a talk or an appearance?
The fee is on request, after a short call about the format, the audience and the date. There are no fixed prices on this site.
How much notice does he need?
For a keynote or a panel, a few weeks gives me time to prepare the talk for your audience. A podcast, radio or TV appearance can often be arranged sooner. If your date is close, ask anyway: the form has a “within 2 weeks” option.
Does he travel to events in Romania and Europe?
Yes. I'm based in Bucharest and speak at events elsewhere in Romania and in Europe. Travel is agreed on the call.
Can he take part online?
Yes: online talks and panels, and podcast, radio or TV interviews recorded remotely.
